ABOUT THIS CLASS
Make mealtime fun as babies learn to sign words like eat and drink through music and repetition. This class supports independence and communication during daily routines.
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Baby Sing & Sign helps you connect with your baby through live music and baby sign language in a sensory-rich setting. With a different theme each week, gentle movement, playful repetition, and shared singing, you and your baby build ways to communicate during everyday moments, long before words arrive.
INSTRUCTOR: This class is designed on the Family Life Education framework and our founder’s experience leading organic content strategy for the world’s leading pregnancy and parenting brand, What To Expect. The class is taught by Ms. Mallory, a Newborn Care Specialist credentialed through the International Nanny Association with 15+ years experience working with families. With specialized training in infant development and early caregiving, Ms. Mallory helps families build confidence, connection and communication during the earliest moments of life. Her warm, responsive approach creates an environment where both babies and caregivers feel supported. She is also our music and movement specialist, with experience as a both a children’s musician and librarian.
Simply purchase a class pass or bundle and show up to your class of choice. Reservations are not required.

ROOM LOCATION: This class takes place in Ensemble Room in the Dorothy Delson Kuhn Music Institute on the 2nd Floor.
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU GET THERE
When you arrive, please go to the front desk and tell the JCC member that you have arrived for a Happy Day Play class. They will direct you to the room.
Upon entry, please present your confirmation to a Happy Day Play staff member. If you have not registered, you can do so at the start of class by scanning the QR code and registering online.
For play and music classes, please remove shoes and leave on socks. Strollers are permitted but must stay parked outside the classroom. If your baby needs to be nursed or have a bottle, we encourage you to do so to keep them comfortable. All other items with the exception of light blankets and pacifiers should be left with your personal belongings. Your personal belongings will remain visible to you the entire duration of class.
