Hello, spring! 🌷

This cheerful class introduces signs that connect babies to the sights and sounds of spring. Through songs, movement, and playful activities, babies and caregivers explore signs for things like flowers, rain, sunshine, and animals. It’s a joyful way to support early communication while celebrating the season of growth and discovery together.

And on Thursday… we made music!

Inspired by the stories of Eric Carle, this nature- and color-filled music class uses songs, movement, and sensory props to explore growth, food, and transformation. Children build early language, sequencing, and sensory integration skills while experiencing music through the full body.

Through gentle songs, movement, and sensory play, children experience music as a tool for emotional expression, early language development, and bonding — creating meaningful shared moments for families.

And on that day… we played and played. Inspired by Eric Carle, families feed the Very Hungry Caterpillar, crawl through tunnels, dance with butterfly scarves, explore a spider’s web, and engage in story-based sensory play. This session is theme-inspired storytelling play. Through dramatic movement, open-ended sensory stations, and joyful group play, children are encouraged to express themselves, try new ideas, and celebrate what makes them unique — all alongside siblings and grown-ups. (This is a theme-inspired experience; no character visit.)

Snuggle up for a cozy class inspired by Llama Llama Red Pajama!

This gentle bedtime-themed class introduces signs that help babies communicate their nighttime needs and routines. Through soothing songs, simple stories, and calming movements, babies and caregivers learn signs related to bedtime, comfort, and calling for a caregiver. It’s a warm, relaxed way to build communication skills while winding down together. 🦙🌙

Inspired by Llama Llama Red Pajama, this class explores bedtime routines through calming songs and cozy movement. Music and repetition support receptive language and predictability, while sensory experiences help children practice winding down and body awareness.

Through gentle songs, movement, and sensory play, children experience music as a tool for emotional expression, early language development, and bonding — creating meaningful shared moments for families.

Celebrate Jewish culture and ignite early literacy skills in this unique, culturally enriched class for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. In partnership with PJ Library and the JCC of Staten Island, Mazel Tots is exclusive to the JCC. This class combines storytelling, songs, and engaging activities to introduce children to Jewish traditions while fostering a love of reading and learning.
